MY BIG ONE EIGHT

Yes, my EIGHTEENTH was over a month ago, June 29th (everybody remember this important date), and yet I still haven't posted anything about it. It was a crazy weekend, some of which I regret but everything turned out for the best in the end.

My birthday weekend began with a mini party outside in the blazing sun. Saturday involved a lot of pre-drinking with my best friend's at my house before going into Bristol (where I only lasted a whopping 40 minutes before being chauffeured home by my dad for being too 'excitable'). On the Sunday I had a lovely family meal where I spent the day opening presents, and the evening at 'the Pig' near Bath where I avoided any kind of alcohol... well maybe I did have one cocktail. Unbelievably, I was sung happy birthday to by Yoko Ono as my amazing Patisserie Valerie double chocolate gateaux birthday cake was brought out. What a way to top off my 18th celebrations.

Overall it really was a perfect birthday weekend spent with the most important people. I had so many unexpected surprises which I am so grateful for, including a trip to London in September with my siblings and their partners (how posh), a Tandem Bungee Jump, and Bath Spa Twilight Package.

I always wondered what it would feel like to become an eighteen year old: an adult. Unsuprisingly, I feel absolutely no different, probably even more so like a little kid.

BLACK AND WHITE

  Top - Mango
Skirt - ASOS
Bag - Primark
Shoes - Primark
Watch - Casio (American Apparel)

First outfit post I've done in a while! The weather has been so nice recently I thought I'd whack out the midi skirt and baggy t-shirt - I hope the sun continues to bless the UK, but knowing our luck the rain and black clouds will soon return!

FLORAL FEVER

Top - Topshop
Trousers - Zara (Kids)

Well hello there bloggers! I apologise yet again for my lack in posting. But don't worry, I'm back, and I'm back for good with regular fashion, life and make-up posts!

I thought I'd start by showing you my newness (I know that's grammatically incorrect). You may not notice, but I've had my haircut!!! It doesn't look much different but I've had so much snipped off. The ends used to reach my hipbone, and my fringe has now been cut just short of a full fringe. It's a change, and this year I'm looking for change, so I like it! Embarrassingly I did cry when I got into my car after being exposed to several inches of my hair dispersed all over the salon floor. It was like a hair murder scene - I was distraught. I did dye it very dark brown/black as well not long ago, but it seems to have faded. My new nose piercings (of 2 months) is not visible but I assure you I have had it done at long last! And lastly; they're not hard to miss, but look at my vibrant, colour bursting, spring exploding trousers! Perfect for summer, right? Not only were they just £20, they are from the Zara Kids section (awkward.) But I'm small, so I don't care that I fit into 13-14 year trousers *sniggers at myself*.

So, it's just a note to say y'all that I hope I haven't been forgotten in this amazing blogging community, and that you keep returning to check out my new posts!
